A new general education school No. 8 with Kazakh as the language of instruction, designed for 900 students, has opened its doors in the city of Rudny as part of the National Project "Keleshek Mektepleri". This day was eagerly awaited by both schoolchildren and their parents.
All necessary conditions for the development of students' abilities have been created in the new school. Separate blocks are provided for primary, middle, and senior levels. Subject classrooms for chemistry, biology, physics, computer science, robotics, as well as STEAM laboratories, contribute to the development of students' research culture.
Classrooms are equipped with computer equipment, interactive whiteboards, and foreign language classrooms have language labs.
The school has 3 gyms with necessary equipment, a choreography hall, and a cozy canteen. Workshops for vocational training are equipped with machinery and sewing equipment.
For the comprehensive development of students, playgrounds for active games and quiet recreation have been installed in the schoolyard.
The school acts as the regional coordinator for the Kostanay region of the Kazakhstan National Federation of UNESCO Clubs and plans to actively engage in international exchange of experience in this field.
It is also important for the mining city that 62 new jobs have been created at the school. 34 of them are for teachers, who face the task of fully utilizing the created comfortable conditions to provide quality knowledge and develop students' intellectual, athletic, and creative abilities.
It is worth recalling that 6 schools for 4500 students have been opened under the National Project: in Arkalyk (300 students), in Zarechnoye village, Kostanay district (900 students), two schools in Kostanay (for 1200 and 900 students), in Kushmurun village, Auliekol district (300 students), and in Rudny (900 students).
