Islamabad, 12 February 2026 – As part of the visit of Vice-President of the Turkic Academy H. E. Mr. Askhat Kessikbayev to Islamabad, a meeting was held with the ambassadors of the Academy’s member and observer states accredited in Pakistan.

During the meeting, Mr. A. Kessikbayev provided a comprehensive overview of the activities of the Turkic Academy, its key scientific and educational projects, as well as cooperation with scholars and research institutions of the Turkic world and Pakistan. He emphasized the importance of strengthening academic ties and joint research for advancing regional interaction in the fields of science, culture, and education.

Ambassadors of the member and observer states expressed strong interest in the Academy’s initiatives and confirmed their readiness for active cooperation. They highlighted the significance of joint projects in enhancing academic, scientific, and cultural linkages between Pakistan and the countries of the Turkic world, underscoring the potential of such initiatives for long-term strategic partnership.

The ambassadors of the member and observer states of the Organization of Turkic States were presented with and received the monograph “Pakistan and the Turkic World,” prepared with the participation of scholars from the Turkic world and Pakistan under the coordination of the Turkic Academy.
