The Republic of Kazakhstan Sambo Championship among adults was held in the Karaganda Region. The tournament brought together around 600 of the country’s strongest athletes from 19 regions, becoming one of the largest and most competitive events of the season.

Participants demonstrated a high level of technical skill, strength of character, and will to win. The bouts on the mat were marked by intense and spectacular competition, drawing the attention of specialists and fans from across the country.

Particular attention was drawn to the performance of servicemen of the National Guard of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, who confidently asserted themselves and achieved strong results in both sport sambo and combat sambo.

Up to 58 kg — 3rd place: Private Sanzhar Ali (Military Unit 6655)

Up to 64 kg — 3rd place: Private Nursultan Nursseitov (Military Unit 7552)

Up to 71 kg — 3rd place: Private Makhambet Konysbay (Military Unit 3660)

Up to 79 kg — 3rd place: Private Tlek Toktassynuly (Military Unit 6636)

Up to 88 kg — 3rd place: Private Azat Kuatov (Military Unit 6655)

Up to 98 kg — 2nd place: Corporal Elaman Koishybayev (Military Unit 6636)

Over 98 kg — 1st place: Private Bolat Sapar (Military Unit 6636)

Combat Sambo Results

Up to 53 kg — 3rd place: Corporal Zhastilek Akhmetbekov (Military Unit 6697)

Up to 58 kg — 1st place: Private Arman Turymbetov (Military Unit 6655)

Up to 64 kg — 3rd place: Corporal Manabek Asembay (Military Unit 5518)

As a result of the championship, the servicemen won a total of 10 medals: 2 gold, 1 silver, and 7 bronze.

The successful performance at the championship confirmed the high level of physical and professional training of the National Guard servicemen, as well as their competitiveness on the national sports stage.
