A literary evening dedicated to the 120th anniversary of the birth of the outstanding Tatar poet Musa Zhalel was held in the Pushkin City Universal Library in Shymkent. The event was jointly organized by the library staff and the Tatar-Bashkir ethnocultural association.
During the evening, the poet's life and work were widely publicized. Informative stories were told about the fate and heroism of the courageous poet, who was captured by the Nazis during the Great Patriotic War. Schoolchildren recited the poet's poems, inspiring the audience.
