The trips to the regions of members of the National Coalition "For the People's Constitution of Just and Progressive Kazakhstan!" The delegation led by Majilis Chairman Yerlan Koshanov held a series of meetings with the residents of Shymkent. Scientists, labor groups, representatives of culture, sports and communal sphere discussed the key provisions of the Basic Law project and its importance for the future of Kazakhstan. The focus is on the person, his work, knowledge and safety.
On the square of South Kazakhstan Research University. M. Auezova held a meeting with the scientific community, teachers and students, which was attended by more than 300 people. Addressing the audience, Yerlan Koshanov emphasized the special role of the university environment, which forms the intellectual basis of the nation.
"We are a nation striving for high ideals and great goals. Large-scale and truly fateful affairs await us. But we can rise to new heights only when justice prevails in society. We will achieve our goals only when law and order are strictly observed. We will become an advanced country when our youth fully master knowledge, science, innovation and modern technologies. And we will rely on this path on our thousand-year history and original culture. All these values are clearly and clearly reflected in the new Constitution," he said.
During the discussion, Majilis deputy Ekaterina Smolyakova emphasized the importance of preserving the cultural code of the thousand-year history of the Great Steppe.
The Minister of Science and Higher Education, Sayasat Nurbek, noted that for universities and the research environment, long-term rules of development, which determine the priorities of state policy, the level of institutional autonomy and strengthening the role of science as the basis of the country's competitiveness, are extremely important.
Vice-rector of the South-Kazakhstan Pedagogical University Barshagul Isabek noted that the fate of any strong state is determined by its laws, historical succession and the spirit of the people. She noted that the provisions of the preamble of the new Constitution, where it is written about the preservation of the thousand-year history of the Great Steppe, reflect loyalty to the covenants of the ancestors and the continuation of the traditions of the Steppe democracy, which began with Kasym Khan's "Kaska Zholy", Yesim Khan's "Old Way" and Tauke Khan's "Seven Charters".
Ardak Montaev, head of the political science department of Auezov University, drew attention to the international experience, that out of 190 countries of the world, about 110 countries have unicameral parliaments.
Next, the members of the Coalition met with the employees of the communal enterprise "Embekshi". Sanitation workers, drivers and specialists of communal economy talked about the importance of stable employment, labor safety and social security.
At the oil refinery "PetroKazakhstan Oil Products" LLP, the conversation focused on the values of law and order, justice and responsibility. The workers of the enterprise emphasized the importance of legislative norms aimed at protecting the right to work, fair pay and safe working conditions. Special attention was paid to the issues of ecological culture and careful attitude to the environment, which should be long-term orientations of the state policy.
Next, there was a meeting with cultural workers on the square of the Shymkent Youth Theater. Artists and representatives of creative professions noted that culture, education and spiritual values form a solid basis for preserving identity and fostering patriotism.
On the same day, members of the Coalition met with athletes and coaches. Representatives of the sports community talked about the closeness of the values of justice, fair competition, discipline and responsibility, which are the basis of both sports and a strong state. The trainers emphasized their willingness to actively participate in explanatory work and to form youth respect for the law, work and civil responsibility.
According to the results of the meetings, residents of Shymkent expressed their readiness to come to the referendum on the project of the new Constitution on March 15.
We remind you that the National Coalition "For the People's Constitution of Just and Progressive Kazakhstan!" It was created on February 13. It includes 5 political parties and about 300 public organizations, uniting about 5 million Kazakhs.
