From February 15 to 22, 2026, the operational-preventive event "Turmys" is being held in the territory of the city of Shymkent. The purpose of this event is to prevent domestic violence, suppress family conflicts, identify individuals prone to offenses and carry out preventive work with them. During the event, police officers check citizens on preventive records, monitor compliance with protective measures, and also strengthen explanatory work among the population.
The ongoing campaigns and events are aimed at strengthening security in society, increasing the legal literacy of citizens, and forming the principle of "zero tolerance" for any harassment and domestic violence.
