Society is not standing idly by in the face of the socio-political initiatives being implemented in our country and important issues being discussed at the national level. Active citizens are expressing their opinions. Shymkent poets are not left out of this process. They express their thoughts on the future of the country in the form of traditional poetry and convey topical topics in verse.

In a video circulating on social media, Birzhan Baituov, Nurlan Esenkulov, and Anar Zhapparkulova published poems by poets that focus on issues of national interest, the status of the state language, the preservation of national values, and social integrity.

Shymkent poets promote the idea that every important decision made as an independent state should be based on the historical consciousness and national identity of the people.

"Since independence, in the mother tongue,
The lines of the poem "The first written law of the country" are aimed at emphasizing the adoption of the law in the Kazakh language for the first time during the period of independence, and at clarifying the specific status of the state language in lawmaking.

At the same time, the poets did not ignore such areas as preserving traditional family values, strengthening the institution of national education, and ensuring stability and harmony in society. They emphasized the need to develop in line with modern requirements, without breaking away from historical roots, and highlighted the unity of the country as the main principle.

The poets also mention and emphasize the importance of using land and natural resources for the benefit of the people and upholding the principles of social justice.

In general, the civic stance of poets is in line with the ancient tradition of Kazakh poetry. At all times, poets have conveyed the thoughts and desires of the people and have raised their voices on national issues. Today's creative representatives continue this trend and are actively involved in the public sphere.
