The grand opening of the traveling exhibition of the Ilyas Zhansugurov Literary Museum "Ilyas Zhansugurov and the Kyzylorda period" took place in the Regional Museum of Local Lore of the city of Kyzylorda.  The exhibition is organized within the framework of the project "Museum tour: expedition of exhibits". The educational event was attended by representatives of the intelligentsia, cultural professionals, teachers and students of higher educational institutions, as well as media representatives. In addition, the exhibition was visited by a senior lecturer at the Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University, Candidate of Philological Sciences Aiman Aitbayeva, as well as employees of the Turkestan Regional Museum of Local Lore. The exhibition featured personal belongings of Ilyas Zhansugurov, rare manuscripts, photographs and valuable archival documents. The exhibition broadly reflects the poet's creative pursuits and social activities in the Kyzylorda period, vividly conveying the literary and spiritual atmosphere of that era. This event is aimed at strengthening inter-museum cooperation and popularizing the spiritual connection between historical figures. The exhibition will run until February 25, 2026.
