Santiago, March 9, 2026 – As part of his working visit to Chile, Kazakhstan's Ambassador to Brazil, Bolat Nussupov, held a meeting with Director of Strategic Development of «Ceibo», Francisco Jeria.

During the meeting, the Ambassador briefed the party on Kazakhstan's current economic development and government support measures for foreign investors in the country.

Particular attention was paid to the development of the mining sector in Kazakhstan and prospects for cooperation in this area. In this regard, the Kazakh Government's plans to expand and finance geological exploration over the next three years were highlighted, as well as the possibility of establishing cooperation with «Kazakhmys». In this context, the Kazakh diplomat invited the interlocutor to participate in the International Geological Conference (GECA) in April 2026.

For his part, Francisco Jeria presented «Ceibo's» capabilities and expressed interest in establishing cooperation with Kazakhstan in the mining sector. The interlocutor expressed their intention to participate in the GECA forum and their willingness to discuss cooperation opportunities with relevant Kazakh counterparts in Astana.

For reference: Ceibo Inc. is a Chilean company developing advanced mining technologies, founded in Santiago in 2007. The company specializes in environmentally friendly leaching methods for primary and secondary copper sulfides, aiming to increase productivity, reduce carbon footprint, and reduce operating costs.
