The Ambassador of Kazakhstan discussed constitutional reforms of Kazakhstan with representatives of the Vietnamese business

On 24 February, 2026 Kazakh Ambassador Kanat Tumysh held a meeting with representatives of the Vietnamese business community to discuss key developments in Kazakhstan, including constitutional reforms in the country and international initiatives.
During the meeting, the Ambassador informed the participants about the importance of the new Constitution of Kazakhstan, emphasizing its role in promoting political modernization, strengthening democratic institutions and creating a more transparent and favorable environment for economic development and foreign investment.
The parties also discussed the upcoming 2026 Regional Environmental Summit, initiated by the President of Kazakhstan, which will be held in Astana later this year. The summit is expected to serve as an important platform for addressing regional environmental issues, promoting sustainable development, and strengthening international cooperation.
In addition, the Ambassador presented President Tokayev's initiative to establish an International organization for Water Resources under the auspices of the United Nations, aimed at strengthening global cooperation in the field of water security, sustainable management of water resources and solving common environmental problems.
The meeting provided a valuable opportunity to exchange views and confirm mutual interest in strengthening economic cooperation and partnership between Kazakhstan and Vietnam.
