Ambassador Beibut Atamkulov met with the Minister of Preschool and School Education E’zozxon Karimova
13.03.2026 19:13:16 231On 12 March 2026, a meeting was held between the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Republic of Uzbekistan, Beibut Atamkulov, and the Minister of Preschool and School Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan, E’zozxon Karimova.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the current state and prospects of cooperation between the two countries in the field of education. The steady positive dynamics of bilateral interaction were noted, as well as the importance of further exchange of experience in implementing reforms in preschool and school education, introducing modern educational standards, and improving the quality of training for students and teaching staff.
Among the main points of the discussion, the Ambassador emphasized the strategic role of education in ensuring the sustainable development of the country, noting that the quality of upbringing and education of the younger generation determines the future of society and the state.
Special attention was also paid to the development of joint initiatives aimed at strengthening academic ties, digitalizing educational processes, supporting talented youth, expanding cooperation in teacher training, and introducing innovative approaches to education.
The Ambassador also informed the Minister about the upcoming Regional Ecological Summit to be held in Astana on 22–24 April 2026. As part of the event, a roundtable titled “Children, Youth and Climate” will be organized under the auspices of the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF).
At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties confirmed their mutual interest in further deepening the strategic partnership between Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan and implementing new practical projects aimed at developing humanitarian cooperation.
