Today, a delegation of veterans from the Karmakshy District visited the city of Kyzylorda and ознакомилась with the operation of newly built facilities in the region.

First, the delegation visited the Family Center (“Otbasу Ortalygy”). The center was officially opened in 2023 with the participation of the regional akim as part of the 85th anniversary of the region and City Day celebrations. A total of 1.6 billion tenge was allocated from the regional budget for its construction. The center provides comprehensive services for youth, including family planning, social support, and marriage registration ceremonies.

Next, the delegation was introduced to the construction progress of the new “House of Friendship.” With a total cost exceeding 3.7 billion tenge, this facility is set to become a modern center aimed at strengthening interethnic harmony.

The delegation then visited the new terminal of Korkyt Ata Airport, commissioned in 2024. The project cost amounts to 20.9 billion tenge, and the terminal has a capacity of serving up to 250 passengers per hour. It is fully equipped to handle both domestic and international flights.

During the trip, the delegation also ознакомилась with the work of the “Syr Zhuldizdary” Academy. The center, costing approximately 11 billion tenge, is designed to develop the creative and scientific abilities of children and adolescents. It offers various clubs in robotics, arts, sports, and technology.

During the visit, the veterans gave a positive assessment of the large-scale projects being implemented in the region.
