On March 31, 2026, the meeting took place at the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Holy See between Kazakhstan’s Ambassador - Timur Primbetov, and President of the Vatican’s pediatric hospital “Bambino Gesù” Tiziano Onesti.

During the meeting, the parties discussed cooperation between Bambino Gesù Hospital and Kazakhstan’s corporate foundation “University Medical Center”, in the field of pediatric medicine. Particular attention was devoted to collaboration in the diagnosis and treatment of epilepsy, as well as neurological and rare diseases.

The interlocutors also exchanged views on further cooperation within the framework of the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions, underscoring the importance of this international platform in promoting humanitarian dialogue, interreligious understanding, and joint initiatives aimed at safeguarding the health and well-being of children.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties reaffirmed their mutual interest in further expanding cooperation and reviewed promising avenues for future engagement.
