Al-Kuwait, 21 September 2026 – Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the State of Kuwait Yerzhan Yelekeyev held a meeting with Reyadh Al-Edrissi, Deputy CEO for Investments and Mega Projects at National Industries Group Holding (NIG).

During the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for further developing Kazakhstan-Kuwait trade, economic and investment cooperation, as well as opportunities for Kuwaiti businesses to participate in promising projects in Kazakhstan.

Particular attention was paid to investment opportunities in the real estate and infrastructure sectors. The Ambassador briefed his counterpart on major projects being implemented in Kazakhstan and the measures being taken to create favorable conditions for foreign investors.

The Alatau City project was presented separately, with a focus on its potential for investment projects in real estate, commercial development and urban infrastructure. The parties discussed possible formats for the participation of NIG and its group companies in promising projects within the new city.

Following the meeting, the parties expressed their interest in continuing the dialogue and further exploring specific investment opportunities in Kazakhstan.

National Industries Group Holding (NIG) is a major diversified Kuwaiti investment and industrial holding company established in 1961.
