The Prosecutor's Office of the East Kazakhstan region is constantly working to protect the rights of minor children and ensure the enforcement of judicial acts on the recovery of alimony.

Real coercive measures are being taken against debtors, including restrictions on travel outside the Republic of Kazakhstan, putting them on the wanted list, as well as bringing them to responsibility established by law.

Since the beginning of this year, 29 debtors have been brought to administrative responsibility, 8 to criminal responsibility.

At the same time, the activities of bailiffs are being checked.

Thus, in the course of supervisory activities, violations were identified in one of the enforcement proceedings on the recovery of alimony in favor of three minor children. It was established that the debt was not reflected by the bailiff for a long time, which led to a distortion of information about the debt.

In addition, the funds recovered in 2024 in the amount of 300 thousand tenge were not transferred to the recoverers for a long time and were sent only after the intervention of the prosecutor's office.

The regional prosecutor's office issued a decision on the initiation of disciplinary proceedings on this fact. The bailiff was excluded from membership of the Republican Chamber of Private Bailiffs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

As a result of the measures taken, alimony arrears in the amount of more than 80 million tenge were repaid in favor of 328 children.

The regional Prosecutor's Office reminds that the parents are responsible for the maintenance of children. Failure to pay alimony entails administrative and criminal liability.

Work on the protection of children's rights continues and is under constant monitoring.
