In Kazakhstan, April 15 is annually celebrated as the national Day of Lovers — Kozha Korpesh and Bayan Sulu Day. This holiday has been widely observed in the country since 2011.

In connection with this commemorative date, this year the Civil Registry Offices (ZAGS) of the Mangystau Region of the State Corporation “Government for Citizens” received 15 applications for marriage registration. The cities of Aktau and Zhanaozen, as well as the Munaily district, are among the leaders in the number of submitted applications.

Overall, 803 marriages were registered in the Mangystau Region during the first quarter of 2026.

We would like to note that applications for marriage registration can be submitted through Civil Registry Offices, the e-Government portal, or online via mobile applications of second-tier banks. The public service is processed within one working day.
