Abu Dhabi, April 15, 2026 – Acting on the instruction of the Head of State, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, Special Representative of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Yernar Lazar, who arrived in Abu Dhabi on a working visit, was received by Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

During the meeting, the Kazakh Special Representative delivered a message from the President of Kazakhstan addressed to the UAE leader, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The message emphasizes that, amid the complex geopolitical situation in the Middle East, Kazakhstan reaffirms its support for the brotherly nation.

In the message, the Head of State once again condemned the unjustified attacks by Iran on the countries of the Persian Gulf, including the UAE, and reaffirmed Kazakhstan’s commitment to the norms of international law, as well as to the principles of respect for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of states. It was also noted that Kazakhstan consistently advocates for the settlement of international issues and armed conflicts by exclusively through diplomatic means.

Furthermore, Y.Lazar conveyed that President Tokayev highly appreciates the significant contribution of Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to strengthening multifaceted cooperation between Kazakhstan and the UAE.

In this regard, the parties exchanged views on key aspects of bilateral cooperation and discussed prospects for further deepening comprehensive cooperation within the framework of the strategic partnership.
