Within the framework of implementing the Concept of “Law and Order”, as well as the nationwide campaign “Honest Police Officer”, on the initiative of the Internal Security Department of the Police Department of the North Kazakhstan Region, in cooperation with the Internal Security Group of the Department of Criminal-Executive System in the North Kazakhstan Region, an educational excursion to Institution No. 66 was organized for the personnel of the patrol police battalion and young officers of the Petropavlovsk City Police Department.

The event was attended by 20 officers of the internal affairs bodies.

The main purpose of the event was the prevention of corruption offences, the formation of principles of legality and zero tolerance towards any manifestations of corruption among employees, as well as the improvement of legal culture and service discipline.

During the excursion, participants were provided with information about the activities of the institution, the conditions of detention of the special contingent, as well as the observance of the rights and lawful interests of convicts. Particular attention was paid to ensuring legality, the prevention of prohibited methods of influence, and compliance with international standards for the treatment of convicts. The norms of legislation on the prevention of torture and other cruel, inhuman, or degrading treatment and punishment were also explained.

The conducted event contributed to strengthening legal awareness, increasing professional responsibility, and forming an anti-corruption culture among employees.
