From April 14 to 16, 2026, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, Maxim Ryzhenkov, paid a visit to the city of Almaty. As part of his itinerary, he visited the Museum of Military Glory at the Army House, where he viewed the exhibition dedicated to the heroic deeds of the Panfilov soldiers. He also laid flowers at the Memorial of Glory in the Park of 28 Panfilov Guardsmen to honor the memory of the heroes. 

     Ambassador-at-Large – Head of the Representative Office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Almaty Zhanibek Abdrashov attended the grand opening ceremony of the Consulate General of the Republic of Belarus in Almaty.

     The visit contributed to the development of bilateral cooperation and the strengthening of friendly relations between the peoples of the two nations.
