Tbilisi, April 20 – The Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Georgia, Malik Murzalin, held a meeting with the newly appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye to Georgia, Mustafa Türker Arı.

At the beginning of the meeting, the Kazakh diplomat congratulated his Turkish counterpart on his appointment to the responsible position and wished him success in his diplomatic mission in Georgia.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the current state and prospects of bilateral and multilateral cooperation, and exchanged views on topical regional and international issues.

The interlocutors noted the high level of strategic partnership between Kazakhstan and Türkiye, emphasizing the importance of further expanding trade, economic, investment and transport-logistics cooperation, including within the framework of the development of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route.

Following the meeting, the sides confirmed their mutual interest in further strengthening Kazakh-Turkish cooperation and expressed their readiness to maintain regular dialogue and close cooperation throughout the diplomatic mission.
