On April 21, 2026, an interdepartmental meeting was held with the participation of representatives from the police department, the health department, as well as heads of education departments, school principals, and college directors.

During the meeting, current issues regarding the organization of preventive work and support for minors were considered. Special attention was paid to the increase in the number of mental illnesses among children and adolescents, as well as measures for their early detection and timely assistance.

The participants discussed issues of interdepartmental cooperation aimed at strengthening the system for protecting the rights and health of minors, preventing offenses, and developed proposals to improve the effectiveness of preventive measures.

Following the meeting, a decision was made to hold regular meetings of the interdepartmental working group to review each high-profile case, including suicide attempts and incidents, offenses, bullying, and other incidents.

Relevant authorities and heads of educational organizations were also instructed to strengthen measures to prevent offenses among minors and ensure their safety.
