A two-day training seminar for tour guides, organized by the regional Department of Tourism, was held in the Akmola region. The event brought together specialists from across the region and became an important platform for enhancing professional competencies and exchanging experience.

As part of the seminar, participants discussed key professional skills, including tour guiding techniques, methods of working with audiences, local history of the Akmola region, speech culture, and rules of conduct for tourists.

The seminar was conducted by Saltanat Abzhanova, President of the Union of Guides and author of 29 экскурсии across Kazakhstan. More than 70 tour guides from the Burabay, Zerenda, Sandyktau, Korgalzhyn, and Akkol districts, as well as the city of Astana, took part in the training.

It is worth noting that in 2025, tourist arrivals in the Akmola region exceeded 1.5 million, and more than 1.8 million visitors are expected in the current season.
