Islamabad, April 22, 2026 – Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Pakistan H.E. Mr. Yerzhan Kistafin held a meeting with international students at the National Defense University of Pakistan from Kazakhstan, Iraq, Nigeria, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE.

During the meeting, the Ambassador discussed the situation in Central Asia, integration processes, regional organizations and structures, and current developments and also highlighted the priorities of the foreign policy of the leadership of Kazakhstan.

Mr. Y. Kistafin briefed the audience on the key areas of the Kazakhstan-Pakistan bilateral agenda and reported on the main outcomes of the state visit by President of Kazakhstan K. Tokayev to Pakistan on February 3-4 of this year.

Students from the National Defense University expressed their gratitude to the Embassy for organizing the meeting and for the opportunity to discuss the current situation in the region.
