On April 24, 2026, Ambassador-at-Large – Head of the Representative Office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Almaty Zhanibek Abdrashov attended the opening of the "Turan Model United Nations" conference at Turan University, where he delivered the welcoming address of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Ermek Kosherbaev, to the participants.

In his speech, the Ambassador emphasized that the Model UN serves as a vital educational and diplomatic tool, enabling young people to engage with pressing global issues, enhance their negotiation skills, and foster a spirit of cooperation and responsibility.
