Brasília, April 24, 2026 – The Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Brazil, in collaboration with JSC «National Company «Kazakh Tourism», held an online conference «The Tourism Potential of Kazakhstan and Brazil: Prospects for Cooperation».The event was attended by representatives of the Brazilian Ministry of Tourism, travel agencies, and local media.

Shyryn Mussina, Managing Director of JSC «National Company «Kazakh Tourism», delivered a presentation on Kazakhstan’s tourism potential.

Representing the Brazilian side were João Ricardo Rodrigues Viegas, Head of the International Relations Department at the Brazilian Ministry of Tourism, and Thiago Souza Lima, Coordinator for Bilateral Relations and International Projects. In turn, Liz Lobo, Editor-in-Chief of the Brazilian news agency «Embassy News», proposed in her speech to feature a special project dedicated to Kazakhstan in the media, including its tourism opportunities.

During the event, conference participants were shown videos featuring Brazilian bloggers in Kazakhstan. At the conclusion of the conference, participants exchanged information regarding the establishment of direct contacts between travel companies, the organization and support of business missions, and participation in international tourism events.
