Frankfurt am Main, April 25, 2026 – The warmth of the Korisu tradition, closely associated with the arrival of spring, was especially felt in the heart of Frankfurt am Main. Kazakh compatriots living abroad joyfully reunited, exchanged warm greetings, and celebrated the Nauryz holiday together.

Within this spirit of unity, the Consulate General of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Frankfurt am Main, together with the “Otandas” Association, organized a large-scale festive event at the picturesque Lohr Park, symbolizing the renewal of spring. The harmony between nature and Kazakh traditions created a special atmosphere, leaving a lasting impression on the guests (about 250 people).

The event brought together representatives of the Kazakh diaspora in the Federal Republic of Germany, compatriots, as well as local residents and visitors of the city.

During the official ceremony, the Consul General of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Frankfurt am Main, Tauboldy Umbetbayev, delivered a welcoming speech, emphasizing the significance of Nauryz as a holiday symbolizing peace, mutual understanding, and the continuity of traditions among nations. He also provided information on ongoing reforms in the country, the new Constitution, and the nationwide “Taza Kazakhstan” campaign.

The cultural program featured vocal and dance performances. One of the highlights was the large-scale “Qara Jorga” flash mob, which brought together participants of various age groups.

In addition, traditional games and sports competitions were organized, allowing guests to actively participate. Winners were awarded books about Kazakhstan, gifts, cups, and medals. Thematic areas showcased Kazakh culture, traditions, and national cuisine.

The celebration, filled with the spirit of spring and national identity, left unforgettable impressions in Frankfurt am Main. The Consulate General expressed its gratitude to the “Otandas” Association for organizing the event, as well as to all participants and guests for their active involvement.
