In the city of Zhanaozen, servicemen of military unit 5548 of Regional Command “Batys” of the National Guard of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan assisted the population in eliminating the consequences of flooding caused by heavy precipitation.

More than 50 conscript servicemen and three units of equipment were involved in the response. The guardsmen promptly engaged in mitigating the aftermath of the severe weather. Work was carried out simultaneously at 25 sites where water accumulation was recorded. Servicemen conducted water pumping operations and constructed protective dams.

Thanks to the coordinated and professional actions of the guardsmen, the situation was stabilized, ensuring the safety of residents and providing necessary assistance to those affected.

Residents of Zhanaozen expressed sincere gratitude to the servicemen for their promptness, courage, and dedication.

It is worth noting that the National Guard actively participates in eliminating the consequences of emergency situations, providing assistance to citizens in the most challenging circumstances.
