On April 29, the Bastaushi Rural Club hosted a round table titled "The Nation's Musical Pride," commemorating the 120th anniversary of the prominent Kazakh composer, conductor, and scholar Akhmet Kuanovich Zhubanov.

The event was co-organized by the Bastaushi rural librarian, Zh.T. Maulkhanova, and the head of the club, E.N. Smagulova.

During the event, Zh.A. Kumarova, Chief Specialist of the Bastaushi rural district, and K.A. Kongulova, Chairperson of the Women's Council, delivered welcoming speeches, highlighting Akhmet Zhubanov's exceptional place in Kazakh culture and art.

Special guests included K.S. Turakbaeva, Chairperson of the Samara District Council of Grandmothers, along with its members; M.M. Mukanov, Director of the District Library; and T.S. Vladimirovna, a Methodist. They shared their insights, noting the scholar’s significant contributions to the nation’s spiritual development and offering inspiring stories as an example for the younger generation.

Performers from the Samara District House of Culture, A. Eluzhan and T. Dyusengazina, graced the evening with beautiful songs. The audience was deeply moved by the performances and expressed their sincere appreciation for the arts.

This educational meeting served as an important cultural event aimed at promoting the legacy of the great figure and fostering respect for national art.
