National Guard infrastructure undergoing modernization

Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan — Commander-in-Chief of the National Guard, Major General Ansagan Baltabekov, conducted a working visit to military units of Regional Command “Batys” located in the cities of Aktobe, Uralsk, and Atyrau. During the visit, special attention was paid to the development of military infrastructure and the condition of ongoing construction projects.

In Aktobe, the Commander-in-Chief visited military unit 6655, where he reviewed the construction of a cultural center currently at its final stage. Finishing and installation works are underway at the site. He also examined the project for a new maintenance and repair facility, noting its importance for enhancing the unit’s technical capabilities.

In military unit 5517 in Uralsk, the Commander-in-Chief inspected the construction of a new 300-bed barracks. Major construction works are progressing at an active pace, with commissioning scheduled for December this year.

Additionally, Ansagan Baltabekov visited military unit 5546 in Atyrau, where particular attention was given to the condition of barracks, the canteen, and the provision of clothing and equipment for servicemen.

Overall, during the working trip, special focus in all units was placed on living and service conditions for personnel. The Commander-in-Chief reviewed operational and service activities and assessed the readiness level of the units.

Canteens of the military units were also inspected. The leadership was instructed to maintain strict control over the quality of food provided to servicemen.

It should be recalled that earlier the Commander-in-Chief also visited Regional Command “Oñtüstik,” where he inspected the construction of several facilities.

It is worth noting that today more than 7,000 National Guard servicemen ensure public order in 21 cities across the country. In addition, personnel carry out tasks related to the protection of strategically important state facilities and institutions of the penal system.
