THE REGION IS LOOKING FOR A PATRIOT OF THE YEAR

The region has launched the "Patriot - 2026" contest. Anyone who deserves this title can become one.
The contest is dedicated to the Day of State Symbols of the Republic of Kazakhstan. On this day, the awarding and honoring of true patriots will take place.
The goal of the contest is to identify and reward citizens who have demonstrated an active civic position, high professionalism, and contributed to the development of society, as well as to popularize the values of honesty, responsibility, and service to society.
It is worth noting that the contest is held as part of a set of measures for patriotic education and strengthening the principles of "Adal Azamat" (Honest Citizen).
Candidates will be selected in 8 categories:
1. "Medicine" - the category is awarded for a significant contribution to the development of the healthcare system, improving the quality and accessibility of medical services. 2. "Education" - the category is awarded for contributions to the development of the education system and the upbringing of the younger generation.
3. "Science" - the category is awarded for achievements in scientific activities and the development of the region's scientific potential.
4. "Sports" - the category is awarded for contributions to the development of physical culture and sports.
5. "Culture" - the category is awarded for contributions to the development of culture, arts, and the preservation of cultural heritage.
6. "Philanthropy" - the category is awarded for contributions to the development of society through charitable and social support.
7. "Village Person" - the category is awarded for contributions to the development of rural areas and improving the quality of life in the countryside.
8. "Working Person" - the category is awarded for conscientious work and contributions to the development of the economy and social sphere.
Citizens can apply to participate independently, or they can be nominated by organizations and collectives. The main thing is that the person must be worthy of this title, and there are many such people in our region.
