In Astana, servicemen of the National Guard of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan held a festive concert for residents of the “Sharapat” Social Service Center. The event, timed to the beginning of the May holidays, became a bright cultural occasion for the elderly and the center’s staff.

The concert program, prepared by the Song and Dance Ensemble of the National Guard, included around twenty performances across various genres. The audience enjoyed songs, traditional kyui pieces, dance performances, and musical medleys. Particular emotional response was evoked by wartime compositions, which brought back memories of the heroic generation.

The audience warmly welcomed the performers, accompanying the acts with prolonged applause and sincere emotions.

According to pensioner Khamila Balgazina, the concert was “a real firework,” giving a boost of energy and warmth for the whole month. She noted the high level of preparation and the diversity of the program, which showcased the richness of national art.

As noted by Bakytgul Abduova, a specialist responsible for cultural activities at the center, the performance by the guardsmen became a significant event for the institution. According to her, the concert opened a series of праздничные events and created a special atmosphere ahead of Defender of the Fatherland Day and Victory Day.

One of the highlights of the program was an energetic sailor’s dance, which drew an enthusiastic reaction from the audience. The concert concluded with a joint performance of a patriotic song involving both artists and spectators, creating a sense of unity.

At the end of the event, Deputy Director of the center Saule Kairova expressed gratitude to the servicemen and presented them with letters of appreciation and commemorative gifts. The celebration concluded with a group photo, leaving all participants with warm and lasting impressions.

It is worth noting that the guardsmen visit the center annually with concerts, and these meetings have become a good tradition eagerly awaited by its residents. Each visit turns into a true celebration of communication, support, and attention.
