The progress of demolition and disposal of facilities on the territory of Kolesnye Ryady and on the site of the former Narimanovsky market was checked. As a result of the flood of 2024, more than 170 residential buildings were damaged. To date, 134 facilities have been disposed of, 96 of them are located in the "Wheel Rows" area. At the same time, it was decided to save three houses and use them as educational facilities.
At the second stage, after additional funding is allocated, it is planned to dispose of another 35 houses located above Krasny Kuznets Street in the flood risk area.
It is planned to build a park on the liberated territory, which will be combined with the Shagala embankment, a triathlon park and a new multifunctional stadium. This will create a modern unified recreation area for residents and visitors of the city.
Also this year, work has begun on the purchase of land plots on the territory of the former Narimanovsky market. There are 36 sites in total, 26 of which are already undergoing work on the purchase and disposal of facilities.
The main work on the liberation of the territory is planned to be completed in the first half of the year. At the same time, a new 1,200-seat school is being designed, after which construction of this important facility for the district will begin.
