The Abay Region branch of the State Corporation "Government for Citizens" reported on the most popular government services in the real estate sector, which residents of the region have actively used since the beginning of this year.

State registration of real estate rights led the way in terms of number of requests, with approximately 20,000 services provided in the first quarter.

The largest number of requests overall relate to the preparation of technical documentation for real estate, the entry of information about newly constructed buildings into the legal cadastre, and the restoration of lost documents.

Second place goes to the issuance of technical passports for real estate and the conclusion on the establishment of discrepancies between identification and technical information based on the state technical inspection of a newly constructed property. Since the beginning of the year, over 1,600 such services have been provided to residents of the Abay Region.

Third place went to the service for entering identification and technical information about buildings, structures, and/or their components into the legal cadastre information system for newly constructed real estate. Approximately 260 services were provided in this area.

The high demand for these services is due to the active registration of new real estate properties, property rights registration, purchase and sale transactions, inheritances, and the need to restore technical documentation.

"Technical inspection services for real estate remain among the most popular services for the population. Timely registration of technical passports, entering accurate information into the legal cadastre, and document restoration allow citizens to avoid legal complications when disposing of property," noted Abay Murat Umirzakhov, Acting Director of the regional branch of the State Corporation "Government for Citizens."

As a reminder, starting April 1, 2026, government real estate services will be provided primarily electronically through the e-government portal eGov.kz, with access to the Public Service Center (PSC) only available if online service is unavailable.
