Buenos Aires, May 4–5, 2026 – A Kazakhstani delegation led by A.Berdalin, Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan, visited Argentina together with representatives of major Kazakhstani agricultural companies.

With the assistance of the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Brazil and Honorary Consul of Kazakhstan in Argentina S. Deluca, meetings were arranged for the delegation with Argentine agricultural companies and associations in the livestock sector.

During the visit, the Kazakh delegation held meetings with the management of three major agricultural companies, visited their ranches, and conducted substantive negotiations on expanding cooperation in the breeding and supply of Angus cattle.

On May 5 of this year, the Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan held joint talks with the Deputy Minister of Agriculture of Argentina, Agustín Rodríguez, the President of the Angus Breeding Association, and representatives of six major agricultural companies, during which issues related to breeding, embryo supply, exchange of experience, and the development of genetics for this cattle breed were discussed.

 The parties highly appreciated the prospects for expanding bilateral agricultural cooperation and expressed their readiness to provide every possible assistance for its expansion, including the organization of joint events and visits.
