Seoul, May 6, 2026 – Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Republic of Korea Asset Issenali presented copies of credentials to the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea Kim Tae-jin.

During the meeting, the parties noted the steady development of the Kazakhstan–Korea Strategic Partnership and confirmed their mutual commitment to further strengthening bilateral cooperation.

Ambassador Asset Issenali provided an overview of the prospects for expanding trade, economic, and investment cooperation, as well as the ongoing implementation of joint projects in priority sectors.

Particular attention was paid to the schedule of upcoming international events at the highest and high levels.

The parties exchanged views on preparations for the first Summit “Central Asia–Republic of Korea”, scheduled for September 2026.

Following the meeting, the parties agreed to further intensify practical cooperation and maintain regular working-level contacts.
