On May 9, 2026, Ambassador-at-Large – Head of the Representative Office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Almaty Zhanibek Abdrashov participated in the official ceremony of laying flowers at the «Eternal Flame» in the Park of 28 Panfilov Guardsmen, dedicated to the 81st anniversary of the Victory over Fascism in the Great Patriotic War. The event was also attended by Akim of Almaty Darkhan Satybaldy, veterans’ organizations, representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited in Almaty and veterans of the diplomatic service of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
