The State Revenue Committee, in collaboration with the Industry Committee, has completed the finalization of data exchange between the “KEDEN” information system and the “Electronic Passport System” (EPS).

This work is aimed at simplifying the procedure for obtaining an electronic vehicle passport (EVP) and making it more convenient for citizens to register vehicles.

The improvements were prompted by reports from citizens who noted instances where the electronic passport system lacked information regarding a vehicle’s customs clearance. As a result, the issuance of EPTS was delayed in some cases or required additional follow-up.

To address this issue, specialists from the two agencies improved the algorithms for data verification and exchange between information systems. This has ensured more accurate, reliable, and timely data transmission.

Now, information regarding the release of a vehicle after customs clearance is transferred from the KEDEN system to the SEP system automatically and almost instantly.

In addition, information on vehicles that have cleared customs in Kazakhstan can be verified on the official KEDEN website at https://keden.kgd.gov.kz/?vinCustomsCheck=true

These measures will help reduce data processing times, improve the quality of public services, and make the process of obtaining an EPTS more convenient and transparent for citizens.

If you have any questions regarding the application process for an EPTS, we recommend contacting the technical support team for the “SEP” information system; their contact information is available at https://pts.gov.kz/main.
