Representatives of the older generation who worked for the good of the country and contributed to establishing peaceful days always deserve great respect. In this regard, today, on the occasion of May 9 — Victory Day, district akim Zhandos Erkinbek visited the homes of home front veterans and congratulated them on the holiday.

First, the district head visited the home of home front veteran Zinep Okasova and conveyed his sincere wishes dedicated to the Great Victory holiday. Her childhood coincided with the harsh wartime years, and while still in school, she actively participated in home front work, laboring for the benefit of the country. For her many years of service, the respected mother was awarded the “Veteran of Labor” medal and today serves as the golden pillar of a large family.

After that, the district akim visited the home of Tazhikhan Bukharbayev and paid tribute to him. Born in the village of Akzhar, Tazhikhan Ketegululy began working at a young age and honorably served in various fields. Having raised a worthy generation, the elder now lives a happy life surrounded by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition, Zhandos Erkinbek specially visited the home of the district’s Honorary Citizen, Isa Bissenov. Isa Bissenov devoted his conscious life to the healthcare sector. During his military service, he participated in combat operations in the Vietnam War. For his outstanding service to the country and his civic dedication, he received numerous medals and international awards.

During the meeting, the district akim emphasized that the veterans’ service to the country will always deserve respect and, on the occasion of the holiday, presented them with letters of appreciation and honored them accordingly.
