Today, regional akim Murat Yergesbayev began his first working visit with a meeting with community elders, representatives of the intelligentsia, and veterans at the Korkyt Ata Memorial Complex in the Karmakshy district.

The meeting was attended by Kazakhstan’s Heroes of Labor Abzal Yeraliyev and Imamzada Shagyrtayev, the chairman of the regional maslikhat, public and state figures, and the chairpersons of the regional and district veterans’ councils.

During the meeting, the head of the region emphasized the role of elders in strengthening national unity and public harmony, noting that the life experience and opinions of the older generation are always important. He also stated that the suggestions and advice of respected elders would always be taken into account.

The veterans wished the regional head success in his future work and expressed gratitude that he began his first steps not with an official meeting, but with a visit to a sacred place and a meaningful gathering.

Murat Nalkozhauly also specially visited the mausoleum of Maral Ishan, where he familiarized himself with the completed work and the current condition of the site.

The passport documentation of the mausoleum, located 18 kilometers east of Zhosaly settlement, was updated using regional budget funds, and a protection signboard was installed. The site was included in the list of locally significant sacred micro-sites. In 2018, the mausoleum was renovated using district budget funds, and a 3D interactive map was developed with financing from the regional budget.

In 2024, 252.3 million tenge was allocated from the regional budget for the repair of the 6.5-kilometer “Zhalagash – Zhosaly – Maral Ishan” highway.
