CGD warns about fraudulent activities

Recently, cases have been recorded where unknown individuals, posing as employees of the State Revenue Committee, make phone calls to taxpayers and mislead them.
Fraudsters claim that there is an urgent need to confirm the type of business activity, update registration data, or complete mandatory verification through a mobile application. They persuade citizens to download third-party applications, follow sent links, log in, enter SMS codes, EDS (electronic digital signature) data, or other personal information.
For example, scammers may state that it is necessary to download the e-Salyq mobile application or other apps for “activity confirmation every two years,” threatening suspension of business activities. This information is false and part of a fraudulent scheme.
The State Revenue Committee does not make such calls and does not request by phone the installation of mobile applications, transfer of verification codes, bank card details, EDS keys, passwords, or access through third-party links.
We ask citizens to remain vigilant:
- do not follow instructions from unknown callers;
-do not share SMS codes, passwords, or EDS data;
-verify information only through official SRC sources.
If you receive such calls, it is recommended to immediately end the conversation.
