Kazakhstan Strengthens Cooperation with the Middle East’s Leading Food Company
12.05.2026 18:16:46 187Riyadh, May 11, 2026 – Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Saudi Arabia Madiyar Menilbekov met with Fawaz Al-Jasser, the CEO of “Almarai” company.
During the negotiations, the parties discussed prospects for developing trade, economic, and investment cooperation in the field of food security. Particular attention was paid to opportunities for implementing joint projects, localizing production, and expanding supplies of agricultural and food products.
The Ambassador of Kazakhstan highlighted the country’s significant potential in the agro-industrial sector, including the production of grain, meat, and dairy products, and expressed Kazakhstan’s interest in attracting advanced technologies and investments.
In turn, the company’s leadership expressed interest in exploring investment opportunities in Kazakhstan, emphasizing the country’s strong agricultural potential.
Following the meeting, the parties agreed to continue the dialogue and further explore promising areas of cooperation.
“Almarai” is the largest food company in the Middle East, founded in Saudi Arabia in 1977. The company produces dairy products, juices, bakery products, and baby food. “Almarai” is considered one of the leaders of the region’s food industry and actively invests in modern agricultural technologies and food security.
