By order of the head of the office of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated May 12, 2026 No. 183-zh/k, Medet Madenovich Abiyev was appointed head of the West Kazakhstan Department of State Property and Privatization of the State Property and Privatization Committee of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Medet Madenovich Abiyev was born on June 12, 1983 in the village of Kumkuduk, Temir district, Aktobe region.

He is an economist and lawyer by education. He graduated from Kudaibergen Zhubanov Aktobe State University with a degree in Economics and Management in the Social Sphere and Industries and from the Russian-Kazakh International University in Aktobe with a degree in Law.

He began his career in 2004 as a chief specialist in the Aktobe Territorial Committee of State Property and Privatization of the Committee of State Property and Privatization of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the city of Aktobe.

From November 9, 2004 to October 30, 2025, he worked as a chief specialist, head of department and deputy head of the Aktobe Department of State Property and Privatization of the State Property and Privatization Committee of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

From October 31, 2025 to April 14, 2026, he held the position of head of the Department of State Property and Privatization in the Ulytau region of the State Property and Privatization Committee of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
