Vilnius, June 2, 2026 – Ambassador of Kazakhstan Timur Urazayev met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania Kęstutis Budrys.

The parties discussed key issues on the Kazakh-Lithuanian agenda, including the development of political dialogue, trade, economic and investment cooperation, as well as measures to strengthen transport and logistics ties between Kazakhstan and Europe, where Lithuania plays a key role.

Particular attention was paid to the parties’ positions regarding the facilitation of visa procedures for citizens of Kazakhstan.

The sides also exchanged views on cooperation within international organizations, including the United Nations, and on Kazakh initiatives in the areas of sustainable development, international security and multilateral cooperation.

The parties reaffirmed their interest in further strengthening the Kazakhstan–Lithuania partnership and implementing joint projects of mutual interest.
