The "Green City Day" environmental interactive event, organized as part of the national "Taza Kazakstan" program, was held in Petropavl. The event aimed to foster environmental awareness, develop a responsible attitude toward the environment, and engage young people in cleanliness initiatives.

"Green City Day" is a youth contribution to the implementation of the Head of State's "Taza Kazakstan" initiative and promote a culture of respect for nature. Environmental habits begin with simple actions—waste sorting, resource conservation, and responsibility for the cleanliness of their hometown. The interactive event united young people around the idea of ​​respect for nature. Participants were able to not only test their environmental knowledge but also practice useful skills related to waste sorting, recycling, resource conservation, and environmental education. The main goal of the event was to instill in young people the core values ​​of caring for nature and demonstrate the importance of green habits in everyday life through a playful and interactive format. Furthermore, the interactive activities fostered student and youth cohesion, fostered teamwork, exchanged ideas, and formed a community of active citizens.

As part of Green City Day, participants completed several thematic stations. At the "Eco-Quiz" station, they answered questions related to ecology, nature conservation, and caring for the environment. At the "Tree of Wishes for the Planet" station, young people wrote down their environmental wishes and ideas for nature conservation, then attached them to a symbolic tree.

Another practical activity was the "Separate into Containers" station. Here, participants were shown samples of different types of waste—plastic, paper, glass, and metal. The task was to correctly sort them into the appropriate containers. The organizers noted that Green City Day is not just an educational event, but an opportunity for each participant to demonstrate personal responsibility for the environment, engage in environmental activities, and become part of a broader conservation movement.

The event contributed to the implementation of the "Taza Kazakstan" program at the local level and is another step toward creating an environmentally responsible society.
