Today, the regional akim Murat Ergeshbayev met with the winners of international and republican subject Olympiads, scientific project competitions, and their supervising teachers. During the meeting, he noted that thanks to the support for the pursuit of education and science from the Head of State, large-scale work is being carried out in the region.
«Head of State Kassym-Jomart Kemeluly: «Indeed, being gifted is a happiness. But talent alone, without hard work, cannot be a guarantee of success. It is necessary to uncover the source of talent and be able to use it to its fullest. Every victory, every medal comes with relentless search and continuous preparation»,– he said. At any time, the force that lifts the head of the country and makes its future prosperous is the educated generation. Meeting with such demanding and talented young people as you, who elevate the glory not only of the Kyzylorda region but of the entire Kazakhstan, is of great importance», – said Murat Nalkhozhaevich.
This year, 29 students became prize-winners of international Olympiads, and 143 students showed excellent results at republican Olympiads and scientific project competitions. Based on the results of the republican Olympiad in general education subjects, the team of the Kyzylorda region won the nomination «Best Olympic Team». Furthermore, two students won educational grants to higher education institutions.
At the ceremonial gathering, 30 supervising teachers were awarded Letters of Appreciation from the regional akim and received vouchers to a sanatorium. 36 students who showed excellent results at international and republican intellectual competitions were presented with Letters of Appreciation from the regional akim and tablets. Students and teachers expressed their opinions and suggestions.
It is worth noting that in recent years, with the support of the Head of State and the Government, over 200 social facilities have been commissioned in the region. This includes 46 new facilities launched in the field of education. Within the framework of the national project «Future Schools», 10 new schools were built. A new building of the «Bіlіm-Innovatsiya» Physics and Mathematics Lyceum-Boarding School and a music college were commissioned.
The «Palace of Schoolchildren», the «Syr Zhuldızdary» academy, «House of Schoolchildren», and «School of Arts» were launched in the Zhalagash, Zhanakorgan, and Syrdarya districts. Recently, a new children's health camp was opened, welcoming its first vacationers. Today, the Botanical Educational Center in the Presidential Park was handed over for the benefit of the country.
