On International Children's Day, Gauez Nurmukhambetov, Akim of the North Kazakhstan region, met with the winners and runners-up of international and national olympiads, as well as scientific project competitions.

"The region's greatest treasure is our children. Educated, proactive, and competitive youth are the foundation of the country's successful future. Our schoolchildren are already proving this with their achievements, bringing glory to Northern Kazakhstan far beyond its borders. I sincerely thank the teachers and parents who help develop their children's talents and support their pursuit of knowledge and new victories. I am confident that our young talents have many more remarkable achievements, discoveries, and victories ahead. I wish each of them the courage to pursue their goals, believe in themselves, and never rest on their laurels," akim of the region noted.

Currently, there are over 73,000 schoolchildren studying in the region. Over 2,500 of them participate annually in intellectual competitions at various levels, honorably representing the North Kazakhstan Region and Kazakhstan at prestigious educational venues.

This year, 33 high school students won and placed in international and national Olympiads, as well as scientific competitions, demonstrating a high level of preparation, knowledge, and determination. In recognition of their achievements, hard work, and passion for knowledge, the head of the region presented the students with special prizes.
