Belgrade, June 9, 2026 – A meeting took place between the Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Serbia, Madi Atamkulov, and the Head of the Inter-Parliamentary Friendship Group in the National Assembly of Serbia, Borislav Antonijević, along with parliament member Aleksandar Čotrić.

The parties discussed the current state and prospects of Kazakhstan-Serbia cooperation, expressing interest in further developing political and inter-parliamentary dialogue.

The Kazakh ambassador informed the deputies about the political transformations in Kazakhstan, explaining their goals and objectives. Borislav Antonijević assured support from the Friendship Group and the Assembly for the developing dialogue with the friendly country of Kazakhstan, highlighting interest in enhancing relations across the entire spectrum of cooperation, particularly in agriculture.

In turn, Aleksandar Čotrić highly praised the constitutional reforms implemented in Kazakhstan, emphasizing that the Kazakh experience holds practical interest for Serbian parliamentarians.
