On January 9, 2026, the Head of State signed the Construction Code. This Code is aimed at improving the safety and quality of construction projects, as well as simplifying and increasing the transparency of construction procedures.

The adoption of the Code is intended to create clear and modern working conditions for the government, businesses, and citizens, taking into account current requirements and technologies.

The new Construction Code is an important document designed to bring greater order to the construction sector, enhance safety, and improve the quality of life of citizens.

The Code provides for the gradual implementation of reforms. Warranty obligations will be strengthened, and digital technologies will be widely introduced. In addition, the systems for design, expert review, and construction supervision will be modernized.
