The city of Kurchatov hosted the "Irtysh River Embankment" environmental campaign, aimed at cleaning and improving the Irtysh River embankment. Participants cleaned the city embankment, one of the city's most beloved walking spots, a favorite place where residents and visitors can relax and enjoy the picturesque view of the Irtysh River.
Around 200 Kurchatov residents—representatives of city businesses and organizations, volunteers, members of the "Zhasyl El" labor brigade, and members of the Veterans Council—participated in the event. Five tons of trash were collected and removed during the campaign.

    Participants emphasized the importance of maintaining cleanliness and respecting the natural environment.
Participants emphasized that the embankment is not only a recreational area but also an important public space uniting generations of Kurchatov residents.
