Employees of the Kuryk customs post of the Department of State Revenue in the Mangystau region stopped an attempt to illegally import jewelry.
When registering the Zarifa Aliyev naval vessel, a citizen of the Republic of Kazakhstan, S., born in 1964, attracted the attention of customs officers. The woman followed on foot. After passing through passport control, her behavior aroused suspicion.: She slowed down her pace a lot and kept her hand on her stomach all the time.
The customs post staff, together with the Border Guard Service, the Department of Economic Investigations and the Transport Prosecutor's Office, conducted a personal search. The result was shocking.
34 pieces of jewelry were found and seized in the woman's genitals: A set (earrings + rings) — 15 pieces; Rings — 7 pieces; Earrings — 3 pieces; Chains — 1 piece; Bracelets — 2 pieces; A white bracelet — 1 piece; Yellow bracelets (round) — 5 pieces.
Currently, the necessary procedural actions are being carried out on this fact within the framework of the current legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The Department of State Revenue of the Mangystau region reminds: hiding goods in the human body is one of the most dangerous and gross ways of violating customs rules, which entails serious administrative and criminal liability.
